Can You Manage 10 Difficult Employees?

You’ve just become the manager of a 10-person inside sales team. They sell software subscriptions, and the target is $85,000 a month. On paper it’s a good team. In practice: your top seller belittles everyone, your most reliable person is drowning, one person coasts, two aren’t speaking, the new hire is lost, and someone is quietly about to quit. Every person has a skill, a morale and a workload. Your time and your budget are limited. Keep the numbers up without losing the people.

How it plays

  1. Month 1 · Meet the team — Take over the team
  2. Month 2 · The complaint — Handle it fairly
  3. Month 3 · The team lead — Choose a team lead
  4. Month 4 · Quarter-end — Close the quarter

After the debrief, “Keep going — to month 12” continues the run with calendar events, new challenges and opportunities that build on what you chose earlier. Every decision page has a live preview that shows what your picks do to the numbers before you lock them in.

What you get at the end

A debrief with your outcome, charts of where the money went, your biggest mistake and roughly what it cost, and a full report you can copy or save as a PDF. Everything runs in your browser: no sign-up, nothing to install.
